What made you start taking your kids to practice yoga with you?

It was something that purely happened naturally. Around a month after the birth of my second child, Kaysen, I started to do some light exercise and yoga stretches at home. It was not long before my eldest daughter, Kamali wanted to join in on the action. We worked, played, danced, laughed and eventually started to film our session. Both Kamali and Kaysen enjoyed to looking back at themselves and for me, it was kind of a diary for future memories.

Can you please share a special or memorable moment/story when you practice yoga with your kid(s)?

A few months later I decided to train on my acrobatic, balancing act. There was no way Kamali was allowing me to do this alone. She jumped up and started to mirror my movements at the base of the canes. Thankfully I was filming this session as the footage was priceless. I sent it to my husband, who was creating the Cirque du Soleil, Paramour at the time. He said it stopped the rehearsals as everyone there, including the director needed to see what this 3 year old was doing. I decided to post it on my social media page and immediately it went viral. I was being contacted by newspapers, magazines and even The Ellen Degeneres Show.

What’s in your bag?

I have a very small bag from Cirque Du Soleil. I only carry a leotard and some spare shorts for my kids and a bottle of water as it’s very hot in Las Vegas and we try to keep ourselves always well hydrated.

What’s your daily/morning routine?

 Our daily routine is:

First we wake up then we have some breakfast. (Eggs, oatmeal, yoghurt, cereal, fruits, water and coffee for grown ups). Whilst we’re having breakfast we also try to teach our kids some studies. (Pretty much home schooling) teaching them how to read, count and etc. Then we getting ready to go to the gym. After one hour of session in the gym we usually go to the gymnastics center to train ourself and teach hour kids and also trying to do yoga at the end of our session. Then we return back home. Kids take a nap and after their nap we go to the swimming pool. Most of the day my daughter doesn’t take naps as she doesn’t like it. So Somedays I teach her Russian language and some days I do some video shooting (training) with her.

In the evening we usually take a bath and then dinner, love watching national geographic documentaries and then we go to sleep.
